India vs South Africa, 2nd Test: Over to Wanderers, a fortress away from home
The second Test of the India-South Africa series promises to be an intriguing contest on the grounds of Wanderers. Virat Kohli and his men aim to add to their 1-0 Test victory over the Proteas in Durban last week. Their top-order looks solid after the impressive batting show last week and a new addition in Yuvraj Singh, in place of Dinesh Karthik, adds variety to the side. The two teams have played each other on four occasions, and India have won three of those. It is certainly not the only thing India must try to rectify this summer.

R Ashwin may be part of the Indian dressing room, but his heart lies with the Wanderers – the fortress of a home side that has won all six Tests played there and will be playing in the third Test at the venue on Saturday. He can’t wait to return to his team’s home ground where he grew up, he can’t wait to return to his team’s fortress.
“I am a big fan of the Wanderers, it is where I grew up playing cricket and was an integral part of my formative years. It is also a special place for my family. Going back to the same ground where I played as a youngster is going to be a very special feeling and something I look forward to very much,”
